Describe Yourself:

I am a single parent with two grown children. I love to write poetry,and God is my biggest inspiration. I have recently had some health issues that have caused me to go into disability retirement.
On Gather, I'm Looking For ...:

Discussion, friendship and fellowship. I have a Christian Discussion Group and love to open up topics for discussion, because everybody learns more that way!

Interests

Favorite Music, Artists, Genres:

FFH and Twila Paris, Statler Brothers will always be my absolute though retired or not. I miss some of the old rock too, though not as much as I used to miss it.
Favorite Books, Writers, Genres:

The Left Behind Series, though I have to admit, I have read and enjoy Harry Potter also, most christian romance or mystery books and historical fiction types., Thomas Kinkade, Lizz Curtis Higgs, the Apostles
Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres:

mostly old movies like abbot and costello, and the Thin Man, less garbage, more content. I do like the Star wars, and some of the new super hero stuff, though not all.
Favorite TV Shows, Actors:

extreme makeover home edition. anything about helping others or helping somebody feel good about themselves, dancing with the Stars, and local news

Church, a park on a beautiful day

Thanks for the cheerful poetic ping...very nice. Sunday is a day of vegging out. Looks like it is going to be a day with our dogs, may be alittle football and the Ray's baseball game ...how abot that out Tampabay Rays doing so well after they removed the 'Devil'.
